Amanda Callas is a first time film director with a background in theatre, writing and producing. She spent her childhood in San Diego, studied Latin and Greek, learned to read ancient Egyptian papyri at the University of Cambridge, and graduated with her master’s degree from Cambridge when she was 19 years old. She’s done stand-up at The Comedy Store, appeared as a nervous elf bride in the TBS sitcom “The Wedding Band,” and produced/directed/hosted her own stage variety show. She recently produced the LGBTQIA+ animated dark comedy pilot “Be More Popcorn” and the award-winning feminist short “Doxxed.”
