Directed by Carlos Marques-Marcet – Spain, UK, 2018
Evan and Kat, both on their 30s, live care freely on their boat in a London canal, until Eva sets an ultimatum that will completely turn their world around: she wants a baby. When their mutual friend Roger accepts to be their donator, the three friends begin their unconventional journey to create a family.
What compromises are we able to entail for love? But most of all, what happens if we lose control over these compromises? Floating over London canals, Anchor and Hope faces the issue of motherhood in a light but deep way.
